Demonstrator's Profiles

BARBARA COLLINS - AREA DEMONSTRATOR
Barbara lives and works in Peterborough as a freelance flower arranger
In 1996 she joined Peterborough Floral Decoration Society and spent many years on the committee, including two terms as chairman
In 2006 Barbara qualified as a NAFAS Area Demonstrator, and enjoys sharing her love for flowers and garden foliage. Sometimes she uses her favourite flower – the Daffodil, and on special occasions cuts a few of “Barbara’s Passion” which was named for her by her husband in 2012. She says this celebrates her passion for Daffodils, which she has had since she was a child
Barbara is a keen competitor, and enjoys the challenge of designing exhibits. She has competed at Club, Group, Area and National levels, and most recently, represented her Area at the NAFAS Designer of The Year Competition at Blackpool 2015. She also arranged flowers in Westminster Abbey in 2010 to represent her Area at the Commonwealth Service
Barbara always enjoys being involved in Flower Festivals, and has exhibited in Cathedrals at Ely, Lincoln, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds. She is a Member of the Flower Guild for Peterborough Cathedral, where she leads a team of flower arrangers

VICKI HEASE - AREA DEMONSTRATOR
I am passionate about watercolour painting along with patchwork and quilting, so between those, and my all-time love of all things floral, surprisingly enough, my time is fully occupied, meaning the housework barely gets a look in.
All things floral is not only arranging the blooms, but designing and making containers, adapting and recycling materials for mechanics, accessories and generally "playing", with ideas and new found items.

WENDY GOODLIFF - AREA DEMONSTRATOR
My love of flowers started when I left school and started work in a florist shop in Boston, Lincs and trained to be a florist.
I passed my test to become an area demonstrator in 2015, and this has allowed me to travel to many lovely NAFAS flower clubs, not only in (my) East of England Area, but in other adjacent Areas as well.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of flowers through my demonstrations, workshops and flower arranging classes.
My current titles include
A Stich in Time
It’s All a Game
Inspired by Nature
Countdown to Christmas
I try to attend refresher workshops to learn new ideas and tips, and meet like-minded ‘flowery’ people along the way.
I am very lucky to do a job that I am very passionate about.
Lives in Spalding, Lincs

TERRI POTTER - AREA DEMONSTRATOR
An early interest in gardening developed into a passion for flower arranging and an investigative creativity with natural plant material in all its forms.
Terri passed her area demonstrators test in 1996 and enjoys interpretive floral art design above all else. A keen competitor, she has successfully gained awards at Area, National and International levels within NAFAS and achieved gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2012 – her first time entry as an individual competitor. In 2010 she was awarded a BA Hons. ( Fine Art) and in her work often reflects her personal challenge to merge the boundaries between floral art and fine art.
A member of Spectrum Flower Club in the Home Counties as well as playing an active role on the committee of Great Baddow Flower Club of the East of England for some 20 years.
