EAST OF ENGLAND AREA OF NAFAS

Welcome to the NAFAS East of England website
We're one of the 21 Areas which make up the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies
(NAFAS). We have 79 Clubs plus two Junior clubs. Due to the expanse of our Area we are divided into five Groups: Cambridge, Colchester, East Suffolk, King's Lynn and Norwich.
You'll find details of dates for meetings, shows and events and can browse the photo galleries. There's information and contact details for the Area team and the Area's five Groups. We have all the Latest News and Chairman's Chat as well as the most recent Spotlight East newsletter. The Area has a good representation of Judges, Demonstrators, Speakers and Teachers. There's also lots of information about flower arranging courses and classes in the Education section.

CLASS 1, CLUB 'BY THE SEA', CLASS 3 'TAKE FLIGHT' and CLASS 7 NOVICE 'FUN AT THE FAIR' only have a couple of spaces left in each class.

If you have ticket(s) and can't make it for any reason please let Caroline Barnes, the JDS&E Treasurer, know by email (carolinejmbarnes@btinternet.com) so your ticket(s) can be resold as there's now a waiting list for tickets.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
19th June - Area Council meeting - THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED - After a heart searching time it has been decided NOT to hold the Council meeting in June as previously planned. The main reason for the decision is that the Area show is to be held the week before the meeting and many of the members and the Executive committee will be working in Hunstanton for most of the previous week. Any correspondence that would have been passed on at Council will be emailed out to Clubs as has now become the norm. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Show in Hunstanton. There is still time to enter the competitions!
The window for applications for the floral competitions are now open for the Hunstanton Anniversary Show in June...
Competition application forms can be submitted between 1st April and 28th April.
